This listing is for one (1) Abus #700 (83070) re-keyable brass cylinder core for the Abus 83 series padlocks. These will fit all Abus 83/45 S2 series of padlocks. Key profile is Sargent® LA-LC. Cylinder is loaded with 5 chambers of zero pins and comes with a Sargent® compatible LA key blank. Extra spool pin, spring and chamber cover are included for easy modification to a 6 pin cylinder. Abus 83 S2 (6CA) cylinder cores have a handy pinning window for easy re-pinning (see photos).
Pinning this cylinder is fairly simple but requires a basic understanding of pin tumbler cylinders. No tools are required, but you will need a variety of different sized bottom pins to complete the task. This cylinder can be keyed to match other locks you may already own.
