1985 Mercedes-Benz 380SL. Original Diamond Blue Metallic paint with navy blue interior. Original owner. Soft top has been replaced and in great shape. At time of purchase hard top was taken off and never put back on. No accidents. No rust. Body in great shape. Was a seasonal car. Always garaged: First in NH now in FL. Radio works. Air conditioner has been converted and works. Although carefully driven the miles have added up but not for a car thirty-seven years old. Odometer stopped at 164,283 miles. Estimate about 170,000 miles today. (Have current CarFax report but it is wrong. Have reported so to them. Believe mixed up service and therefore mileage reports with a Nissan Pathfinder we used to own. Don't hesitate to submit questions to us if any concerns.) Sad to say after moving to Florida the hot weather has taken a toll on the leather seats. They will need to be recovered. Padding in good shape. Pictures show the areas. Small cracks in burled wood console. Regularly serviced. Engine pulled and fine tuned in 2014. Throughout years exhaust system, air conditioner, compressor, calipers, master cylinder, rocker arms, etc were replaced. All parts that wear out have been properly maintained and replaced with Mercedes Benz parts where appropriate. Latest service April 2021. All was checked out. Spark plugs replaced. Most mileage from trips up and down east coast and out west. Original owner’s manual, Mercedes tool kit, Mercedes first aid kit, Mercedes Service manuals, etc. Lots of life left in this car. Have been told many times by Mercedes technicians that checked over and serviced “Baby Blue”….. ”this car should last well into 500,000 miles…such great shape."
