This is hands down the most complete and highest quality kit that you will find to do a heavy duty rebuild of the gear assembly in your General Motors headlight motor. If your headlight motor spins but does not open the headlight, opens or closes the headlight partially, or keeps running with a clunking noise after it has opened or closed then this kit is what you need.
This kit includes a two (2) new CNC machined hard anodized aluminum gears, two (2) new side cover gaskets and six (6) new precision machined Delrin torque pins. These torque pins are MADE IN THE USA and the best you can buy because they are precision machined +/- .001" for even torque spread around the entire gear. These pins will fit all OEM gears PERFECTLY! The fit is just snug enough so there is no slop but not so tight that the gear assembly will need to be forced together causing the nylon plastic gear to crack during extreme temperatures. Because I have rebuilt hundreds of these motors over the years I have seen many times what the incorrectly sized pins will do. These pins will not deteriorate and break up over time like the OEM gel pins.
As a bonus I will also include several blister packs of the same high quality OEM grease that I use when rebuilding headlight motors for my customers. This is the correct grease for this application and is the same grease that was originally used when your headlight motor was manufactured. This grease has a high film strength so it stays put and won't run or melt with a effective operating temperature from -20 degrees to +600 degrees.  Other sellers do not include OEM grease. WARNING! Beware other sellers passing off bearing grease as "GM Approved" for this application. Any grease that will flow or break down over time is wrong for this application and will eventually coat your brushes causing failure! Trust me I have seen this first hand.

*Beware the OEM style gel torque pins which are designed (in my opinion) to have a lifespan just like the OEM gel pins meaning they are designed to deteriorate and fail over time. I have also seen many of the replacement hollow nylon torque pins that will also eventually break up and fail.
