In one form or another, Mercedes-Benz has been producing a two-seat sporty convertible since 1954 under the SL-Class moniker (SL standing for “Sport Leicht,” or “Sport Lightweight” in English). The cars have always been popular standard bearers, and have combined sporty touring qualities with comfort and quality. The 300SL is no exception. The 1991 SL only has 85,688 miles and remains in very good condition. The Gray Blue poly exterior is clean and the blue leather interior is also in excellent condition. Highlights include cold AC, aftermarket CD player, dual memory seats, cruise control. The 3.0 inline 6 cylinder fires right up and the automatic transmission shifts smoothly. This also comes with a removable hardtop and a Saratoga stand, but also is equipped with a soft top. It's quick and easy to remove and wheels away with ease. (The hardtop hydraulics and fully operating.) You also have a wind deflector you can put up in the rear that makes it easier to have a conversation with your passenger, or if you just want to enjoy music and escape while driving.
