    Description

    This violin is a 4/4 size , believe to be a Mittenwald, it is tagger in the inside H.E. & SON NEW YORK, MADE IN GERMANY. The wood is in great condition, has one tiny hair line on the front, easy fix. The pegs appear to be ebony, with diamond inlay in each of the four ends. The scroll is very ornate, as is the sting inlaying around the front and back edges. The  rare bow has OTTO ADLERS name with a silver end. The chin rest and tail piece are in great condition. These two pieces hung in a frame for over 60 years, in a house, who family, said that her grand mother play them ,when she was a little girl. The violin is 24'' long, 14 '' body, 8 1/2 at the widest across.
