Antique FRANCOIS BARZONI CHATEAU THIERRY VIOLIN . c 1880 1900 Marked made in Germany and Francois Barzoni Chateau Thierry violin.
François Barzoni was the trade name for violins manufactured for Beare & Sons around the turn of the 20th Century. They were made in workshops in France and Germany. Violin needs upper and lower nuts as well as tailpiece bridge and strings. No cracks that I can see. A few light scratches and edge wear in varnish.  Great tiger maple back. Comes with old case which has hooks missing;  will come delivered with rubber bands around case. Violin sold as is, needs restored.
