Antique4/4 Violin labeled Copy Antonius Stradivarius Made in Austria estate Item

Description

This is an antique violin labeled “Copy Antonius Stradivarius Made in Austria” from a local estate (pencil date is difficult to read / no bow). It looks to be nice quality, with tiger grain wood and beautiful hand carved scroll with grungy old rubbed varnish finish (see images). It measures 23 1/2” long, with 14 1/8” long x 8” wide back. It’s in exactly as-found unrestored estate item condition. Sound-post is upright inside. It displays great but we’re not experts and we are not sure what it would need to be in top playing condition again so being sold just as-found AS-IS for restoration, old parts, or display. Case is in very worn poor condition, but will provide good protection for shipping. Please ask any questions before bidding.
