  • Condition: This is a circa 1930's cast iron dog door stop. I've never seen one of these in 30 years of antiquing. He is aprox 10 inches tall. He has the wedges at the back for sliding under the door. He is not painted, i cleaned him with Norman's beeswax lemon cleaning so he's a little shiny in the picture. Minor surface rust patina. Just a rare item from the 30's and how cute...begging like they do. It's really heavy so shipping in a medium flat rate priority box. 10-11 inches tall

    This is a circa 1930's cast iron dog door stop.  I've never seen one of these in 30 years of antiquing.  He is aprox 10 inches tall.  He has the wedges at the back for sliding under the door.  He is not painted, i cleaned him with Norman's beeswax lemon cleaning so he's a little shiny in the picture.  Minor surface rust patina.  Just a rare item from the 30's and how cute...begging like they do.  It's really heavy aprox 5 lbs so shipping in a medium flat rate priority box.   10-11 inches tall.  I could only find one site that had a dog like this and they estimated 450-500.00 in value.
