Description
Offered here is a pair of pink Old Colony or " Lace Edge" footed sherbet dish crafted by Hocking Glass Co. between 1935 - 1938! They measure 5" in diameter & 3-1/8" tall. Condition is good. At first there seems to be no flaws, but when you run your finger on the underside of the lace you will find chips. Not on the top! On the bottom of the lace! One stem has 6 chips on the bottom side of the lace and the other has 4. There are small cracks - often associated with the chips. AND all the lace seems to be in tact. These flaws are not readily seen when looking at the glass. The tops are smooth and round. Feet and bowls have no flaws that I can see. Some edges seem rough and I assume that is from the original manufacturers pressed mold. Fantastic, hard-to-find pieces to add to any collection or table setting! Priced appropriately. Unfortunately more and more bidders are deciding NOT to pay for an item once they bid on and win it. I have a zero tolerance for this kind of activity on eBay and it will result in a non-paying bidder case being opened with eBay. Due to this rapidly growing problem payment is now due within 3 days of an auction ending.
I hope all of the honest bidders out there can understand and please realize that these changes aren’t caused by you. Thanks to all of you eBay bidders who pay quickly, communicate, and make buying & selling a pleasure on eBay. You are sincerely appreciated.
I appreciated feedback. It's a good way of knowing that you received your item and are happy with it.
Please, contact me if there is a problem with your item. I work with all my buyers.
Otherwise
, please leave feedback if you are satisfied.
Thank you for shopping.
