The crystal gels inside expand after absorbing distilled water and contract when it’s ready for a refill!
The humidifier has a handy magnetic backing so it can be placed anywhere in your humidor and easily removed to recharge the crystal gels.
Note:
You will only want to soak your dry unit for 2-4 hours in distilled water only, on the initial fill. This is due to more effective crystals, which absorb the water at a faster rate and have increased water capacity.
