I have been raising butterflies for 20 years.
Chrysalis it is one stage before the butterfly.
'Pupae' or 'Chrysalis' are creatures that will transform into normal butterflies. For this process you should help as soon as you receive them. You should place them in the refrigerator for a few days and without having them covered, this way they feel that winter has arrived due to the darkness but also the low temperature that exists in the refrigerator. There is a possibility that butterflies will transform and come out in the refrigerator, so it is good to watch twice a day the place where you have the Chrysalis.
After 15-20 days we can take them out of the fridge and leave them in a
handmade tulle
cage, to transform there. The butterflies inside the Pupae perceive more light and higher temperatures and feel that spring has finally arrived.
You can release the butterflies at an event, such as a wedding, christening, anniversary, store opening,birthday, etc.
