Vintage 4/4 Violin Imported by Gittelson & Howard , NYC,circa 1920's

vintage 4/4 violin with bow & case- Imported by Gittelson & Howard. I'm not a violinist- all i could find is that they imported 'fine' violins around the 1920's. the label says imported by gittelson & howard,33 west eighth street,new york. I cannot find any other markings. the bow is marked gittleson and howard, so it apparently came with the violin.there is a ery thin crack from the bottom soundhole to the edge- it looks like an easy repair for a skilled luthier it lones right up & disappears. otherwise the violin is very clean with a beautiful flamed back. the bow has standard wear as well. the hardshell case is probably the original. it has standard wear and all latches work.there is a very old empty string pouch inside- 'armour's' brand. everything is exactly as photographed. Please assume the violin will need a setup and crack re-gluing.
