Vintage 4/4 Violin M V #41987 Estate find Texas

Description

Estate find in trunk/chest with other instruments in Texas.
Please look at all photos as they are part of the description.
Inside sound box it's written in  pencil: M V EOOK  #41987
There is a missing peg and strings.
I am not sure if the bridge is original to the instrument.
An old piece of masking tape is on the back of the neck that says "5"
The other violin it was stored with was made in Germany.
I do not know the origin of this one.
Would be a good addition to anyones' vintage collection of instruments.
This is a no reserve auction.
