    Portfolio of 4 full vivid color 1959 reproductions of authentic 16th to 18th century global maps. Ready for framing. Published by Penn Prints New York. Maps are printed on very nice quality 16.5" x 12.5" inch heavy weight paper and were reproduced from hand colored and hand engraved originals in full-color collotype. The maps included are as follows: Ptolemy Map of the World, circa 1700 - Ortelius Map of America, circa1584 - Mercator-Hondius, Map of Cuba and Hispaniola, circa 1606 - Mercator Map of America cira 1620. There is some wear on the edges that won't show when framed. Otherwise they are in great condition with vivid colors.
