    Description

    Full braided, appears to be one piece, with a vintage spring clip on one end.  The handle is stiff and covered completely so their is likely a wooden insert.  These were often used with sled dogs for sound.  Found in a lot of military items so could be for one of the cold weather or mountain units, who would some times use sleds in the colder areas.  I am estimating WW2 era.
