    Description

    VINTAGE RIDING CROP EEGEE WHIP HORSE WRAPPED BROWN LEATHER Made in ENGLAND. A while back I went to the a prop auction for the Television series  GOOD LORD BIRD.  This was the story of John  Brown and hes attempt to get a slave rebelion started.  I  saw a box containing whips and thought some might have been screen used.   The series had not come out yet.  The auction also contained items from the prop masters estate.  Since I didn't see the whip on the screen I can only assume it was from his personal estate. The whip or riding crop is made by EEGEE and is so marked although a little hard to see. The total length is about 25 i ches including two and one half inch leather whip end.  The handle is tightly wrapped leather with a knob at the end.  It has a leather hand strP.  There's wear but no damage.  I  think this is a vintage one.
