Violin labelled Sebastian Dalinger. It is an interesting estate find sold to me for parts or restoration. That said, it is really in pretty good shape (my opinion). It needs a bridge and some stabilizing and I think then it 'could' be played. I think too that more 'expert' persons could look it over, but I do not see anything of great concern. On the careful side, it is best I reassert what the prior owner had said that it would need 'parts' like the bridge + strings and whatever 'restoration' (if any) needed. It is best that you look at the pictures very carefully to see the condition. It is sold without case or bows. The wood is quite old and the 'fiddle' very light in its weight. My thought as a non-expert is that this is likely original. That said, I can't guarantee it. I know old wood very well and have other 18th and 19th Century violins... and as I said it is very light. I hesitate to sell it... but I play them and don't fix them.

P.S. Got a message 03/04 stating
"

and wanted to make note of this for whatever this means.
