Otherwise there are no defects discernable to the eye. The case is as you see it. The enclosed bow is in average condition. There are other accessory parts in the case.It measures; 23 1/4 inches in length not counting the rear peg, 8 inches in width at its widest point and 2 1/4 inches at its widest depth including bow at top and back.

    It measures; 23 1/4 inches in length not counting the rear peg, 8 inches in width at its widest point and 2 1/4 inches at its widest depth including bow at top and back.
    The paper label reads; "Manufactured In Berlin Special Copy Of Nicolaus Amati". There is also a crest on each side of the wording; The left crest is a crisscross of a violin and a bow, the right crest is 2 oak leaves crossed to make a circle. This violin is extremely light weight and from the research we have done we are convinced this is not an average old violin. Also there is a bow and some accessories included in the case. We wish we had more knowledge but we certainly are not experts in violins. We have 2 other violins up for auction along with this one however this one is the lightest. You can hardly feel it resting on your fingertips. Comes from a smoke free house. Please check photos for visual details.
